Mickey Finn

A classic traditional Bucktail Streamer  created by Charles Langevin which continues to take fish on a regular basis. Not very fashionable in these modern times but a great standby and held in high regard by many a Streamer fisherman. It does not conform to the more modern, big, bold streamer flies but that should not put you off as it can be a deadly pattern. We have found it good for Trout and Perch.

Fished hook down with a light “cheb” weight where the river bottom is clear this bright fly catches the eye of small Perch when fished hybrid style on a light Lure rod.
